Grilled Kielbasa Tacos

Grilled Kielbasa Tacos


1 lb kielbasa sausages
2 bell peppers (any color), sliced into strips
1 bunch scallions, trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small flour or corn tortillas
Hot sauce (your favorite brand)
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges for serving


Prepare the Grill:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are hot and have a white ash coating.

Prepare the Vegetables:

In a bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers and scallions with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Grill the Kielbasa and Vegetables:

Place the kielbasa sausages on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until they are nicely charred and heated through, about 8-10 minutes.
Grill the bell peppers and scallions until they are tender and have grill marks, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Slice the Kielbasa:

Once the kielbasa is grilled, slice it into 1/2-inch thick pieces.

Warm the Tortillas:

Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side, until they are pliable and slightly charred.

Assemble the Tacos:

Place a few slices of grilled kielbasa in each tortilla.
Add grilled bell peppers and scallions on top.
Drizzle with hot sauce to taste.
Garnish with fresh cilantro.


Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
